Our partnership with NESTA (National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts) continues to grow.
We've just completed the initial phase of our second project with them - Age Unlimited.
This initiative will motivate and assist senior entrepreneurs to turn social and community ideas for the elderly into businesses. For launch, we've produced a poster and leaflet. Based around a 'seed of a good idea' gardening metaphor, these will raise awareness and encourage applications.
As the project develops, other elements will follow. NESTA will then support over-50s with workshops, advice and funding - ultimately helping the best ideas become full businesses, so Scotland's elderly lead more fulfilling, active and sociable lives.
Age Unlimited follows the creative entrepreneurs' Enterprise Tookit we developed for NESTA earlier this year.
